Come February 2008, the world's golf legends will play the legendry Robert-Trent
Jones-designed Royal Ka'anapali Golf Course. The Wendy's Champions Skins Game
will showcase the multi-million dollar renovation of the Royal and Kai golf courses
and the spectacular Ka'anapali Beach Resort.
|
 |
Televised on ESPN, the world will watch as four two-man teams vie for a $770,000
purse. In the "skins" competition, each hole is assigned a "skin" or dollar value.
To win a skin, each team needs to win the hole
|
outright; otherwise, the money is carried over to the next hole. "As the first master-planned
resort in Hawaii, Ka'anapali Beach Resort has invested more than a billion dollars
in our product," said Chip Bahouth, president, Ka'anapali Beach Resort. "The recent
renovation of the golf courses and being named the new host of the Wendy's Champions
Skins Game solidifies Ka'anapali Beach Resort as a world-class destination."
Tune in February 23-24, 2008 for the Skins Game or, better yet, come see the legends
in person.
